WHY THIS? WHY NOW?
It started with one ordinary rainy evening.
After a dry spell, the rain finally came. There was a lot going on. Instead of watching it through a window, I went outside and stood in it.
It felt simple, immediate and strangely refreshing. It made me think about wild swimming — the appeal of being outdoors and immersed in weather, but also the travel, access, cold-water risks and growing concern about water quality.
Then came a very simple question:
What if reconnecting with water could sometimes be as easy as opening the door?
That question became Rain Bathing.
